Why is my SocietyOne personal loan account access moving to the MONEYME app?

Since SocietyOne was acquired by MONEYME, we’ve been busy merging the best of two worlds. Moving SocietyOne accounts into the MONEYME app means we can provide our customers with a better experience.


Do I need to take any action?

On the day of the transfer, we will send you instructions on how to set up your new MONEYME account to access your previous or current SocietyOne loan details in the MONEYME app.


What if I have already repaid my loan?

We are required by law to keep your loan details on file for 7 years after you have repaid your loan. Since we are closing down the SocietyOne app, your account will move to the MONEYME app so you can continue to access your loan details, if you choose to do so.


How can I access my SocietyOne personal loan account?

You can continue to access your account through the SocietyOne app until your account has been transferred. Once your SocietyOne account has been moved to the MONEYME app, you will need to set up your MONEYME account to access your account.


When will my account move to MONEYME?

You will receive an email once your SocietyOne account has moved to the MONEYME app.


Can I continue using the SocietyOne app after the transfer?

No, you will need to set up your MONEYME account to continue to access and manage your SocietyOne loan.


How do I set up my MONEYME account?

On the day of the transfer, you will receive instructions via email on how to set up your MONEYME account. It's a quick and straightforward process.


What happens if I forget to set up my MONEYME account on the transfer day?

If you forget to set up your MONEYME account on the transfer day, you can still do so afterward by following the instructions provided in the email.


Can I opt out of the transfer to the MONEYME app and continue to use the SocietyOne app?

No, the transfer is a mandatory process, and your SocietyOne loan details can only be accessed through the MONEYME app after the transfer.


Can I continue using my existing SocietyOne login credentials?

No, you will receive instructions via email regarding how to create your new login credentials.

No, your existing loan agreement with SocietyOne will remain in place.

No, there will be no change to your interest rate.


Will my credit score be affected by the transfer?

No, the transfer of your loan account access to the MONEYME app will not impact your credit score. Your credit history and status will remain unchanged.


What happens to my scheduled loan repayments?

Your SocietyOne loan repayments will continue as scheduled. There is no change to the repayment process.


Can I still make additional payments or pay off my loan early?

Yes, you can continue to make additional payments or pay off your loan early as per your existing terms. You can make additional payments from the MONEYME app after the transfer.


Will my payment due date change?

Your payment due date will remain the same. There are no changes to your repayment schedule and your scheduled payments will continue as usual after the transfer.


Will my loan reference number change?

Yes, you will be provided with a MONEYME Reference Number once your SocietyOne loan has moved to the MONEYME app.


Are there any new fees or charges associated with the MONEYME app?

There are no new fees or charges associated with the transition to the MONEYME app. Your existing fee structure will remain in place.


Can I view my loan documents and statements on the MONEYME app?

Yes, you will be able to view your loan documents and statements through the MONEYME app for easy access and reference.
